Karen Chlosta

Hi! My name is Karen.

As a doula, I work to create a safe and non-judgemental space to support you through aspects of birth that may feel like uncharted territory. No two births look the same, and regardless of what that narrative might look like, I’m here to follow, support and cheer you on in that journey.

My goal is to help you and your partner navigate your journey with compassion, respect, and evidence-based resources. Be it first time mamas or well-seasoned parents, I hope to support the innate wisdom birthing bodies hold.

Birth is as hard as it is beautiful. I find it invaluable to honor, support and celebrate birthing bodies through what is a powerfully emotional and physical experience. I’m here to believe in you, to advocate for you in a calm and confident way, and to support your decisions however they may change or evolve throughout the pregnancy.

Would you like to contact a Student Doula?

Please note that individual student doulas may not be available for your due date. Not all students have chosen to post their profiles at this time. Please contact the Specialized Programs Coordinator using the form below and you will have the opportunity to interview the student doulas who are available for your due time.

I understand that student doulas are reserved for low-income families and I confirm that I fall within the lower-income guidelines. (required)
