So, You Want to Be a Midwife? is our annual day-long workshop on all you need to know about the training, practice, and lifestyle of midwifery. Students, graduates, and their family members are invited to volunteer as panel members, as well as faculty, local midwives, and other practitioners. All attendees must register in advance and pay a workshop fee.

So, You Want to Be a Doula? is our annual workshop covering the training, practice, and lifestyle of labor and postpartum doulas. We will be joined by current students, graduates, and local business savvy doulas as panel members. Please RSVP for this free event.

So, You Want to Be a Lactation Consultant? is our annual workshop covering the training, practice, and lifestyle of being a professional lactation consultant. We encourage students and graduates to participate and share their experiences, and often bring in guest speakers. Please register for this free event.

Birthingway’s annual Plant Sale is a fundraiser and community building event, held off-campus each spring. Students often support this event by helping  start seeds, selling plant starts, or sharing their green-thumb knowledge with the Portland community.
